Sometimes life seems so unfair. I saw a patient the other day, a sweet little lady 55 yo complaining of headaches. Also some vision changes. I started to worry that I have found another patient with a glioblastoma( a really bad malignant brain tumor)- I'vf found two in the last nine months. 100% fatal one of them(45 yo) will probably live anotheryear or so, the most recent one(51 yo) will live less than a month. The CT scan came back with no tumor. Instead, she has a 10 mm aneursym of the R middle cerebral artery. Sent her to the University Hosp for Neurosurgery evaluation and probable surgery. When I think of these patients I realize that my central field of vision has started getting fuzzy over the past few months. I type this now with my right eye closed so things don't look so blurry. Yeah, I'll call tomorow to see my ophthamologist for a checkup to alay some worries. C'est la vie~.
